The Living Field is a series of projects and activities through which the science of farmed habitats is shared with schools and the public. It explores the biology of plants, invertebrates and the environment. There are three Living Field Projects:
The public are welcome to visit the wildlife garden and find out about science and the environment.

The CD contains more than 300 pages of high quality images, sounds, games and activity sheets designed to enhance and enrich pupils’ knowledge and interest. The CD has been distributed to all schools in Scotland and can be played online or downloaded free of charge.

The centre is located on the SCRI farm, supported by the Institute’s scientific excellence, and will focus on the flora and fauna of arable land in Scotland. It is a base for investigating the biodiversity in farmland systems in the Tayside region, linking science, farming and the environment.
